Introduction:
Due to the expansion in oil industry operations, and by virtue on an Amiri Decree, Kuwait Petroleum Corporation (KPC) was established in January 1980 to bring together under one umbrella the nationally owned companies operating in the fields of oil production, processing and transportation.
Kuwait Oil Company's responsibilities under the KPC's umbrella are the exploration, drilling, and production of oil and gas within the State of Kuwait. Kuwait Oil Company is also involved in the storage of crude oil and delivery to tankers for export. | | |
