A drilling rig worker dies of natural causes
|
Kuwait Oil Company announced today that a contractor worker died of natural causes while performing his normal work.
According to KOC Spokesperson and Deputy Managing Director (Administration & Finance) Khalid Madhi Al-Khamees, the Pakistani worker, Shaheed Altaf, had a heart attack when he was operating at the Drilling Rig No. 10 owned by Kuwait Drilling Company.
“First aid was given to Altaf on site before he was taken to Um Al-Aish Medical Center, North Kuwait where he was declared dead,” Al-Khamees said.
