GCC Human Resources 88th Meeting

Al-Khamees: “Pay attention to the national workforce”

“We have to increase the competency of our workforce through the development of HR management so our employees can fulfill all positions of any discipline,” DMD (Administration & Finance) Khalid Madhi Al-Khamees said to inaugurate the GCC 88th meeting held at the Marina Hotel. “We have to meet the quickening changes through the adaptation of the latest systems, exchange information and effectively utilize both in order to improve our work methods,” he said. Al-Khamees called for further efforts to attract the national manpower. “Our most difficult challenge is how to maintain our experienced employees,” he remarked.

The meeting is held twice per year alternately among the GCC national oil companies. Participants seek to adopt the latest HR systems and management as well as exchange experience to solve common problems.

Representatives of Aramco Saud Arabia, Abu Dhabi National Oil Company, Qatar Petroleum, Bahrain Petroleum Company, Oil Development of Oman and Kuwait Oil Company attended the meeting.
