Abu Hleifa Beach Cleaned
The Export & Marine Operations Group initiated a campaign for cleaning up the Abu Hleifa beach. This pioneering effort reflects KOC's strategy and concern for the protection of the environment in general, and the marine life in particular. The campaign was part of the Company's contribution to the Marine Environment Unified Clean Day in the GCC countries. It was widely covered by Kuwait TV and other mass media. Kuwait Autism Center, KPC, Ahmadi Educational Area, EPA, Ministry of Interior and volunteers from a number of various institutions were also involved.
"Thanks to everyone involved in this good effort; it reflects the one-team spirit for all residents of Kuwait" Manager, Export & Marine Operations Group, Fadhel Buresli, said. "KOC seeks to increase awareness of environmental issues at all levels."
TL, Marine Operations, Khalid Al-Ahmad, said that KOC gives a high priority to the environment. "KOC strongly supports all cooperative efforts in this respect."
