As part of its Corporate Social Responsibility program, KOC’s HSE team staged a community event for the students of the Gulf Indian School in Fahaheel on February 16th.
The event aimed to increase students’ awareness on the issues of health, safety and environment. Safety Engineer, Mohammad Mohiuddeen of the HSE Systems Team, spoke to the students about a range of topics, including home safety, road safety and environmental protection. Various short films on HSE-related issues were also shown.
This program has provided an opportunity for the HSE group to spread awareness of the importance of HSE among the community, conveying the message that HSE should be considered an integral part of everyday life.
Around 150 students, teachers and school staff attended this event. School Principal Mrs. Shyamala Divakaran and the school’s students showed great interest in the program and actively participated in the day’s activities.
This event was another example of KOC’s concern for Kuwait’s community and the environment as a whole.
