Kuwait Oil Company

As a part of Kuwait Oil Company’s continuous effort to be in the lead, a KOC delegation headed by Mr. Mazen Al-Sardi, DMD Technical Services participated in the SPE Annual Technical Conference and Exhibition from the 4th till the 7th of October 2009 in New Orleans, Louisiana. Mrs. Husnia Hashem, DMD North Kuwait, has also participated in organizing the conference as President of SPE in the Middle East. KOC delegation also included Mr. Emad Al-Sultan, Manager Operations Group (West Kuwait), Mr. Abdul Khaliq Al-Ali, Manager of Public Relations & Information Group, as well as  number of other team leaders and engineers who gave different presentations on various KOC operations in the company's booth.

 

 

The conference focuses this year on ways to address the industrial challenges of the oil and gas industry and the technological development that has occurred and ways to adapt to these new technologies.

 

 

 

It is worth mentioning that there were more than 370 scientific papers presented at the conference, and more than 300 companies participated in the exhibition which was held on the sidelines of the conference.
