KOC participated in the events of International Conference & Exhibit on Petroleum Technology hosted by Qatar Capital City of Doha during the period from 7th to 9th current December under auspices of His Highness Sheikh Hamad Ben Khalifa Al-Thani, Emir of State of Qatar who delegated Sheikh Hamad Ben Jassem Ben Jabr Al-Thani, Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs to attend inauguration Ceremony.

KOC delegation to the conference attended by more than 400 participants was chaired by Mohamed Hussain, Deputy Chairman & Deputy Managing Director, Planning & Gas.

There was a distinguished presence by a number of major oil companies such as Aramco, Adnok, Qatar Petroleum, Shell and Total.
Participants in the conference sought to enhance exchange of expertise and peruse up-to-date technologies, services and business mechanisms in oil and gas industry.
Environment issues were predominant in a number of major sessions where matters of this significant aspect were addressed, particularly those related to latest technological developments in clean fuel area.

KOC stand in the exhibit had a considerably attendance by the public as confirmed by Joe Brown, Marketing Manager in SPE Company the conference and exhibit organizer, who praised such success indicating that it was integrated in terms of marketing and media aspects.
