Ahmadi City, located some 40 kilometers south of Kuwait City, was named after H.H. the late Sheikh Ahmad Al Jaber Al Sabah, and was chosen to be the capital of Kuwait's oil industry due to its important location. Together with upgrading the technologies required for the Company's operations, the Company built Ahmadi town for its employees - elegant residential areas complete with all public services, medical services and recreational facilities. There you will find paved roads lined with trees and flowers, parks, mosques, churches, schools, social centers with their various activities, and assorted playgrounds. The main Stadium can accommodate up to 7000 spectators. There is also a spotlighted sports grounds for night time events, a Sport Centre, and many other facilities vital to any reasonable residential settlement.
