Referrals to State Hospital |
Top |
It has been the practice that treating doctors / specialists refer special medical cases, which require further medical treatment, not available in Ahmadi Hospital, to the Specialized Medical Centers in State Hospitals provided prior appointments are booked with the Specialists / Hospitals concerned.
Some medical cases are referred by the Accident & Emergency Department immediately after the patient is given the necessary initial medical treatment. The treating Casualty Doctor should give the referred patient a brief medical summary indicating information relating to his findings and treatment given.
Ahmadi Hospital provides transport to all entitled referred patients from Ahmadi Hospital to the referred hospital, waits for them and returns them back after finishing their investigation/ treatment. This procedure requires prior booking of transport through the Admin. Officer concerned on Tel. No: 62375, who will arrange booking of the required cars on time.
