The activities of the educational solutions workshop on the management of oil wells, reservoirs and facilities and ways to achieve integration in surface and subsurface facilities, hosted by Kuwait Oil Company, represented by the Field Development Team (Al-Rawdhatain) headed by Jassim Bouarki, and organized by Shell, Kuwait, kicked off.
The five-day workshop, which will be held at Hilton Hotel & Resort in Mangaf, will be attended by a number of team leaders from North Kuwait Directorate, including the field exploration and development, production and handling teams in addition to other specialists.
As part of a series of lectures, discussion and training sessions, details of current activities and work plans, ways of developing plans and modifying them, and developing work methods to increase production were discussed.
The workshop includes many practical discussions with specialists and experts, in addition to interactive exercises that include devising the best solutions and ideas applicable on the ground. Daily performance and wells, facilities and reservoirs logs will be reviewed to achieve the defined goals.
