Recognizing the importance of corporate social responsibility and its role in preserving the lives of Kuwait's future generation of citizens and residents, KOC organized an awareness lecture on "Safe Bus Driving" for the Kuwait Public Transport Company school bus drivers.
The lecture was held in the Company's tent in Al-Ahmadi in coordination between the Warehouse Management and Public Relations Teams and the Private Transport Department of the Kuwait Public Transport Company. Acting TL, Warehouse Management Mr. Faisal Al-Khudari, and a number of team members, as well as members of the Public Relations team, the Director of the Private Transport Department at the “Public Transport" company, Mohammed Al-Failakawi, and a number of company employees, in addition to 500 bus drivers, attended the event.
At the beginning of the lecture, Engineer Abdullah Bufersen welcomed the attendees, emphasizing the Company's keenness to provide the best services within the vision of "New Kuwait 2035". Al-Failakawi also delivered a statement in which he expressed his gratitude and appreciation for the response of "Kuwait Oil Company", its ongoing initiatives in coordination with various entities, and its support for upgrading its services conducive to the public interest.
Then, the representative of the Health and Safety Unit in the Supply Management team, Farid Taqi, gave a lecture on the art of safe driving, its methods, the challenges and problems facing drivers on roads, ways to overcome them, and maintaining the safety of students and road users.
The lecture witnessed interaction from the drivers, as the company distributed gifts to the participants who answered questions. On the sidelines of the event, tokens of appreciation and certificates were exchanged between the two sides, while Al-Failakawi presented gifts to the KOC representatives.
