Under the patronage of Manager Fields Development (S&EK) Group Abdullah Al-Rabah, and in the presence of Team Leaders from the Group, a number of students from the Public Authority for Applied Education & Training – Department of Exploration & Development delivered their final technical presentations to mark the completion of their training course organized by the Group, which lasted for approximately two months.
The students discussed what they learned during the course, which included programs related to well studies and how to conduct preliminary geological and geophysical studies involved in selecting locations for new wells, along with other related operations such as drilling and maintenance.
Several field visits were also arranged for the students to various facilities of the Company, including drilling and maintenance rigs, Gathering Centers in the Burgan Field, the Core Lab & Storage facility, the Well Surveillance Group building, and the headquarters of the Well Workover Team (S&EK).
The students also attended numerous technical and practical lectures prepared for them during the training period. Trainers from the Group assigned each student with a graduation project to work on and study, with ongoing supervision and follow-up from the training coordinator and program supervisor, Senior Engineer Hussein Bahman.
At the conclusion of the event, TL Fields Development EK-I Abdullah Al-Watyan, and TL Fields Development EK-II Duha Al-Khaled extended their thanks to the trainees and the training committee for their efforts in making the course a success, and presented each student with a certificate of appreciation.
