KOC is keen on maintaining the health of its employees by following the highest HSE standards in its operations, in light of the exceptional circumstances the country has been facing due to the emergence of the novel Corona virus.
The Health, Safety and Environment Team (S&EK) conducted many awareness sessions for all workers in the shift system in all facilities of the Directorate, to provide them with all the necessary information on the Corona virus, and to explain the different methods of prevention and how to deal with the disease. In addition, the Team has visited facilities in South and East Kuwait in coordination with the Ahmadi Hospital and the Preventive Medicine Services Team to train production operations staff on how to sterilize buildings in the event of a suspected infection with the Corona virus, and how to deal with it correctly in a manner that ensures everyone's safety.
It is worth noting that the HSE Team (S&EK) continues to provide support to the Company's employees in this regard, as the Team measures the temperatures of all employees at entry points to the Burgan Field areas (South and East Kuwait) on a daily basis in order to ensure their safety.
The Team has also distributed personal protection equipment, masks, and sanitizers to all production operations staff, in cooperation with the Human Resources Team of S&EK.
