KOC recently concluded an evacuation drill at New Ahmadi Hospital in cooperation with the General Fire Department.

The drill scenario included a report of fire in one of the hospital sections, to which the medical and administrative staff responded in accordance with the usual plans and procedures of these cases, and in coordinating with the Company’s emergency teams.
Acting Manager Medical Group Dr. Saud Al-Ajmi, Acting Manager Fire Group Eng. Salih Al-Harbi, Acting TL Fire Eng. Ali Kankouni, Acting TL Pediatrics Consultant Faisal Al-Kandari and the Emergency Response Unit Coordinator Nasir Al-Buhairi from KOC oversaw the drill, whereas Ahmadi Governorate Fire Department Manager Lieutenant Colonel Moath Al-Hamadi aided by Acting Ahmadi Fire Center Head Lieutenant Colonel Hussain Al-Shamali represented the General Fire Department.
This comes within KOC’s constant pursuit to maintain all safety and security demands at the highest standards and international prerequisites of health services institutes, as is the case with all its facilities and operations. It is also a part of the mutual drills program and experience exchange with the General Fire Department, as well as the preparations of gradual opening of all the new facility sections.
