KOC, represented by CEO Emad Mahmoud Sultan, recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) at the KOC Main Office with the Public Authority for Applied Education and Training (PAAET), represented by Ag. Director-General Professor Dr. Jassim Mohamed Al Ansari.
This agreement is part of KOC's effort to support the Kuwaitization of staff at Ahmadi Hospital, as the MoU outlines training activities for a number of Kuwaitis at the PAAET Nursing College who will be employed at the hospital once they have completed their educational program. The employment of the new personnel will be in accordance with Ahmadi Hospital's needs and training requirements.
The memorandum was signed in the presence of Ag. DCEO (Admin) Abdul Wahab Al-Mithin, Manager Medical Group Dr. Emad Al-Awadh, Ag. Manager Training & Career Development Hassan Al-Kandari, and a number of Team Leaders and KOC officials, in addition to academics and personnel from PAAET who were also present.
Under the memorandum, both sides will coordinate the admission of male and female high school graduates (Scientific Section) to become Nursing Specialists, starting in the first semester of the 2020/2021 school year. Both parties will interview students enrolled in the program prior to beginning the course work, which includes the diploma program (three-year), and the bachelor program (four-year).
The memorandum will serve for a period of five years, and can be extended or renewed for a similar period.
