As part of an effort to collaborate with Kuwait's local educational institutions, KOC recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the College of Technological Studies from the Public Authority for Applied Education & Training.
As part of the agreement, KOC will provide the college with a training platform that will be utilized to facilitate the transfer of the Company's collective knowledge and experience to the students.
The memorandum was signed by Manager Operations (EK) Omar Sadiq on behalf of KOC, while the college was represented by Deputy Director General of Applied Education & Training Dr. Jassim Al-Ansari. A number of officials from both sides attended the signing ceremony, including Waleed Al-Rubaiaan, KOC Manager of Training & Career Development.
The memorandum states that the Company will provide the training platform to the college on an automatic renewable period of one year.
Several specialists from various KOC Groups which specialize in training contributed to the establishment of the platform, including the development of its training programs. The installation and follow-up maintenance of the platform was supervised by three Senior Instrument Engineers: Amin Al-Kandari, Jassim Al-Mulla, and Maha Al-Houti.
