The Joint Committee for the Cooperation Protocol between KOC and the Ministry of Defense (represented by the Kuwaiti Navy) recently held its first meeting at the Ahmad Al-Jaber Oil and Gas Exhibition. The two sides discussed various aspects related to KOC’s offshore exploration drilling project.
Team Leader Offshore Prospect Evaluation Jarrah Al-Jenaie delivered the meeting’s opening remarks, where he conveyed his thanks and appreciation to KOC’s senior officials and the Ministry of Defense for their continuous cooperation. This close cooperation has resulted in the signing of the Protocol of Joint Cooperation between the two sides, which is indicative of the importance of this project for the future of oil and gas production in the State of Kuwait.
Colonel Naval Staff Ali Al-Rashidi affirmed the readiness of Kuwait’s naval force to provide all support to KOC in implementing its strategic projects.
The offshore exploration drilling project is one of the most important projects that will contribute to achieving KOC’s 2040 strategic objectives by increasing the production capacity of oil and gas in the State of Kuwait.
