KOC participated in the Annual Open Forum for oil sector leaders 2022-2023, which was organized by our sister company KIPIC at the Hyatt Regency Hotel located in 360 Mall.
The forum, which was held under the slogan “With our distinction, we overcome challenges," was attended by all K-Company leaders, led by KPC CEO Sheikh Nawaf Saud Al-Sabah, while KOC was represented by CEO Ahmad Jaber Al-Eidan and a number of DCEOs.
In the forum, which was held in person for the first time after a hiatus of four years due to the Coronavirus pandemic, the latest achievements made by the oil sector were discussed. The major challenges the sector faces were also addressed, especially in a volatile global market in terms of prices and supplies.
The forum included two keynote speeches, one of which was by Sheikh Nawaf Al-Saud, in which he praised the achievements made by the oil sector during the fiscal year ending on March 31, 2023, revealing that it had achieved the highest annual profits in the past ten years.
For her part, KIPIC CEO Nadia Al-Hajji delivered a speech in which she stressed the importance of continuing these efforts to overcome difficulties and face all challenges, to allow the implementation of vital projects under the Strategy for KPC and its subsidiaries.
This forum is considered an annual station that brings leaders of the oil sector together to highlight the achievements of the previous year, and present visions and goals for the next stage. It also provides a platform for exchanging opinions and discussing difficulties, challenges, and lessons learned.
