Under the patronage of DCEO Gas & Innovation Bader Al-Munaifi and DCEO Planning & Finance Bader Al-Attar, the Innovation & Technology Group recently organized the KOC Digital Transformation Day.
The event was attended by DCEO South & East Kuwait Eisa Al-Maraghi, DCEO North Kuwait Ali Al-Kandari, DCEO West Kuwait Fuad Al-Shaikh, and DCEO Commercial & Corporate Services Abdul Wahab Al-Mithin, in addition to a number of KOC Group Managers and Team Leaders. KNPC Projects DCEO and Chairman of the Higher Committee for Information Technology in the Oil Sector Abdullah Fahad Al-Ajmi and KNPC DCEO Planning & Finance Khaled Al-Khayat were also present.
During the event, which was held at the Ahmad Al-Jaber Oil & Gas Exhibition, the Company's digital transformation journey since its inception was discussed. Participants also reviewed the roadmap that was strategically developed according to KOC's future vision, which is in alignment with the goals and future aspirations of Kuwait Petroleum Corporation. The aim of the transformation journey is to digitize the majority of the Company's operations and activities, and presentations that were delivered during the event provided an overview of the work and progress that has been accomplished in this regard.
The event included two speeches by Al-Munaifi and Al-Attar about the importance of digital transformation, in addition to a visual presentation delivered by Team Leader of the Information Technology Planning Team, Rehaf Al-Hasawi, who provided an overview of the digital transformation roadmap for KPC.
Meanwhile, Team Leader of the Corporate Solutions Team and the Head of the Technical Committee of Information Technology in the Smart Fields Group, Dr. Reem Al-Shammari, recounted success stories in the Company's digital transformation journey. Coordinator of the Integrated Smart Fields Unit, Engineer Hamad Al-Rashidi, then explained the components of digital transformation success and the approach taken to digital oil fields. Engineer Haya Aba Al-Khail then delivered a review of the Integrated Smart Field System for West Kuwait.
At the conclusion of the event, Innovation & Technology Group Manager Hamad Al-Zaabi expressed his pride in the achievements registered in the effort toward digital transformation. He also expressed his thanks and gratitude to the Integrated Smart Fields Team for their effort and dedication to KOC's transformation journey.
