Within the framework of the ongoing cooperation between the two sides, and under the patronage of Manager Technical Support Group at KOC Ali Al-Saleh, Halliburton International organized a Technology Day Workshop, in collaboration with TL Drilling & Workover Technical Services (3) Zahraa Muqaddas.
The event was held at Jumeirah Hotel – Messila, and attended by Manager Al-Saleh, Area Vice-President for the Northern Gulf at Halliburton Osama Abdel Halim, Team Leaders and several concerned employees from both sides.
The event opened with a speech from Abdel Halim, who stressed that technological solutions are only found through collaboration, and encouraged an open dialogue.
Al-Saleh followed, thanking Halliburton for organizing the event, and confirming that it reflects the longstanding partnership and technological advancements made.
He also added that the recent growth in production is a result of this successful collaboration between KOC and Halliburton. He closed off by encouraging the attendees from KOC to ask questions and find solutions, hoping for a productive Technology Day.
Following the speeches, several Halliburton experts gave a series of presentations where they presented different solutions related to Well Placement & Directional Drilling, Reservoir Mapping, Testing and MPD, Wireline Logging, Bits, Mud and Cementing, among other related topics.
