On June 19, 2013 the KOC stakeholders gathered to receive an in-depth overview of one of the intelligent workflows of KwIDF Sabriyah. The audience gathered at the North Kuwait Collaboration Center included Field Development engineers, Well Survelliance professionals and a few other KOC professionals. This workshop provided a better understanding of how this automated workflow enables the geo-cellular and reservoir modeling by using a novel assisted history matching and model ranking techniques. This integrated asset management smart flow, developed as part of KwIDF Sabriyah Project, provides a master platform to increase effectiveness through automating work processes and by connecting and coupling geo-modeling, reservoir, and well models in one workflow. It is already adding value to the Sabriyah production operations through: fast and efficient identification of well production problems; real-time monitoring of volumetric rates, pressure, and temperature across the entire field and for wells; it provides proactive alerting and advisory system to present improvement actions; displays multiple key performance indicators to evaluate well and field performance amongst other functions.
