KOC Meets with Government Agencies to Discuss Spring Season Plans

In a proactive step aimed at ensuring the best possible upcoming spring season, KOC, through coordination by the Local Relations Team, held a meeting with several relevant government agencies. These included the Ministry of Interior, Kuwait Municipality, the Public Authority for Agricultural Affairs & Fish Resources (PAAFR), and the Environment Public Authority (EPA).

976.1.jpgThe meeting was chaired on behalf of the Company by TL Local Relations, Abdulaziz Hamadah. Representing the government entities were Head of the Camping Committee Faisal Al-Otaibi, and Head of the Team for Monitoring & Removing Violations on State Property, Yousef Al-Fajji.

Representatives from various KOC Teams participated in the meeting, which was coordinated by Chief Public Relations Officer Meshal Al-Mazyad and PR Controller-I Amna Arti, both from the Local Relations Team.

The meeting reviewed the Company's readiness to identify sites prepared by the relevant Teams, which are either subject to encroachments on its land or located near its facilities and services, including camping and farm sites.

976.2.jpg976.3.jpgDuring the meeting, the Company expressed its full readiness to provide all forms of logistical support, including the deployment of security patrols, provision of necessary services for removal teams, media coverage, and conducting daily statistics on inspection results.

All attendees from various participating parties expressed their full willingness to collaborate and coordinate in serving the public interest during the upcoming season. They also emphasized the importance of firmly addressing violations and enforcing the law equally on everyone, in order to prevent any potential harm to outdoor enthusiasts before any infractions occur.
