KOC CEO Ahmad Jaber Al-Eidan paid a visit to the Heavy Oil Complex in North Kuwait.
Al-Eidan was accompanied on his visit by DCEO NK Ali Al-Kandari, Manager Operations Group (NK) Ali Qasem, and Manager Fields Development Group Heavy Oil (NK) Mubarak Al-Mutairi, in addition to a number of concerned Team Leaders.
During the visit, the delegation was briefed on the history of heavy oil production in the Company from the start of exploration until the sale and export of the first shipment in 2020, as well as learning about the developments of the most prominent current projects, and the challenges and difficulties they face.
The visit also included Central Processing Facility (CPF 60), where the CEO was briefed on the workflow of the operations that take place inside the Facility.
