Senior officials such as ministers and other prominent leaders attended the event, which was organized by the Public Fire Service.
The exercise witnessed the implementation of various plans and protocols which exist with various State entities which aim to respond to any accidents or disasters which occur at the national level. The exercise featured the participation of 27 State entities and numerous personnel.
KOC was represented by DCEO Commercial & Corporate Services Abdul Wahab Al-Mithin, Manager Fire Group Faisal Mirza, and TL Organization Resilience Nasser Al-Buhairi. Members of Teams affiliated with the Fire Group also participated, in addition to employees from the Transport Operations Team.
The exercise was an opportunity for the Company to demonstrate its capabilities in emergency response management. It was also an opportunity for KOC to improve its collaborative abilities with State authorities which provide emergency response services.
The exercise was also significant because it represented the first time KOC’s helicopters participated in such a training event. The helicopters provided support to government entities in the roles of reconnaissance, damage assessment, and evacuation of the injured.
