DCEO Gas & Innovation Bader Al-Munaifi recently visited the Innovation Center located in the Hubara Center to follow up on the progress of the new facility’s construction, which is expected to be inaugurated soon. Officials have maintained that the project embodies an important partnership between KOC and the Sabah Al-Ahmad Center for Giftedness and Creativity.
Al-Munaifi was received by Hamad Al-Zaabi, Manager Innovation & Technology Group, Abdullah Eid Al-Otaibi, TL Planning & Support Team (Innovation & Technology), and Chief Planning Engineer from the Team, Nadia Al-Zeabot, who is responsible for implementing the project. Other KOC employees were also in attendance.
A number of Sabah Al-Ahmad Center officials also attended, including Innovation Department Manager Salem Al-Baz, Public Relations Manager Kadam Al-Kadam, and Technology Development Department Manager Amir Abdul Ghafour.
The DCEO and other officials were provided with a tour of the Center, which includes facilities equipped with the latest devices and equipment which aim to develop the skills of talented individuals in the fields of programming, design, robotics, and electronics. The group then listened to a detailed explanation of the Center and the purpose behind its construction.
At the conclusion of the event, Al-Munaifi spoke to the project supervisors and encouraged them to continue their efforts toward the development of Kuwaiti talents and realizing the objectives of the Company’s 2040 Strategy.
