The Contracts Manpower Kuwaitization Group (CMKG), represented by a delegation comprised of Team Leader (CMK Sourcing & Recruiting) Jamal Al-Hashash and Team Leader (CMK Strategy and Monitoring) Hanan Ashkanani, organized a field visit to the Higher Institute for Administrative Services in Hawally to follow up on the progress of trainees participating in the “Operating the Computer - Oil Facilities” program for KPC, which is supervised by the Institute.
During the visit, the delegation met with some of the training supervisors at the Institute and heard from the Head of the Computer Department, Muhammad Al-Sarraf, and from Nadia Al-Hashemi, Hussain Mirza and Ahmed Al-Rashidi, about the progress of the training process and the disciplines being taught to the participants. Trainees were also familiarized with the training conditions and mechanisms, and shared their opinions on the program and its components.
The program aims to strengthen the Kuwaiti labor market and supply it with nationals in various administrative jobs and services in the oil sector companies, in line with the declared Strategy for the sector.
This is the first time in the history of Kuwaitization in the oil sector that students are being recruited into such programs, in cooperation with the mentioned Institute. The preparation includes 25 male and female trainees who were accepted into the program to continue their training at the Institute, and are expected to graduate soon, provided that they will be appointed directly to jobs under contracts in Kuwait’s oil sector companies.
