KOC participated in the first edition of the "My Job" fair, which was held under the patronage of the First Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Interior and Acting Minister of Defense, Sheikh Talal Al-Khalid Al Ahmad Al Sabah.
The 3-day fair was inaugurated in the presence of the Minister of State for Municipal Affairs, Abdulaziz Al-Muajal, a number of Senior State officials, and company officials; including Ag Team Leader Public Relations at KOC Abrar Al-Mahdi.
The Training & Career Development Group, Public Relations and Information Group, and Corporate Information Technology Group represented KOC in this event, with the purpose to further familiarize everyone with KOC and respond to visitors' queries, as well as presenting the Virtual Reality Technology that was recently adopted in the Company.
The fair, which was organized by “Kuwait Zone" Human Resources Company, under the umbrella of the Public Authority of Manpower, aimed to open channels of direct communication between Private and Government sector companies and job seekers, as well as encouraging graduates to engage in the labor market and communicate directly with enterprises and companies to explore career opportunities.
Over 80 companies from 14 sectors participated in the event, whose representatives met with young Kuwaitis; including banks, investment companies, car dealerships, hospitals and medical sector, insurance companies, major trading companies, airlines, industrial companies, retail companies, and oil companies.
The event also featured several presentations on market potential, career counseling, and workshops on CVs and interviews, in addition to other activities.
