KOC participated in the Next Generation Healthcare Conference - Integrating Imaging & Informatics for Collaborative Care, which was organized and supervised by the College of Allied Health Sciences at Kuwait University and sponsored by the University's President, Prof. Dina Al-Mailem.
Several Teams concerned with the conference's theme participated, most notably the Health Information Management Systems (HIMS) Team. The Team set up a booth for the occasion, showcasing the latest advanced services provided by Ahmadi Hospital, particularly the electronic services serving patients and visitors.
While the Team's participation continued over the two days of the conference, the Radiology Team participated on the first day, while the Medical Lab Services Team participated on the second day.
TL HIMS Samah Al-Duwaisan was present to supervise the participation, while HIMS Officer Badreyah Al-Haqqan coordinated the event, along with several stakeholders from other Teams.
The participation included a presentation on the latest technology provided to Ahmadi Hospital visitors.
The conference was attended by several prominent figures and officials from healthcare institutions and government bodies, as well as specialists in the field of allied health sciences, including experts, academics, and researchers. Ambassadors and representatives from several Arab countries were also in attendance.
Discussions focused on the latest developments in next-generation healthcare and highlighted innovative approaches to integrating allied health professions.
