The meeting was headed by Manager Risk Management Group (KGOC) Abdul Aziz Dashti at the Company’s Main Office in Ahmadi.

A number of Group Managers, Team Leaders, specialists, and officials from KPC’s Enterprise Risk Management Department attended the meeting. DCEO Bader Al-Attar initiated the meeting by welcoming the visiting delegation and participants and commending the close cooperation which exists between the two companies, which he said should continue for the benefit of the oil sector in particular and Kuwait in general.

KGOC’s Risk Management Manager Abdul Aziz Dashti then delivered a presentation which focused on KGOC’s experience in offshore drilling from a risk management perspective.
The meeting between KOC and KGOC falls under the framework of cooperation and collaborative efforts in regard to KOC’s offshore drilling project, following the signing of the offshore exploration and drilling contract with Halliburton.
The offshore drilling project is the first of its kind in KOC’s history. Therefore, the Company is seeking to expand its focus to include all aspects related to the project, particularly in terms of identifying risks and working to avoid them in the future.
