KOC, represented by the Soil Remediation Group, recently received a delegation from the United Nations Compensation Commission (UNCC). The delegation was also accompanied by members of the Kuwait National Focal Point (KNFP).
Manager Soil Remediation Group Mansour Al-Khareji received the delegation at the Ahmadi Guest House while Team Leader Soil Remediation Support Nada Al-Qallaf delivered a visual presentation about the latest progress and challenges of the Kuwait Environmental Remediation Program.
The details of a media plan were also announced which aims to inform the public about the work associated with the KERP project and KOC’s involvement. The three UNCC members commended KOC’s efforts and encouraged the Company to implement the media plan, which will continue until the project’s completion sometime in 2024.
The United Nations Compensation Commission (UNCC) visits Kuwait every three months to follow up on the progress of the soil remediation projects in Kuwait.
