The
Public Relations Team recently delivered more than 1,000 books to the Kuwait
National Library as part of a KOC effort to enrich the National Council’s
selection of content. The delivery from KOC was led by a delegation from the
Public Relations Team headed by Team Leader Noora Al-Soula. She was accompanied
by Chief Public Relations Officer Rawdh Al-Sumait and Public Relations Officer
Muhammad Buabbas.
Sheikha
Rasha Nayef Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, Director General of the National Library
of Kuwait, welcomed the visiting delegation. Head of Business Development and
Activities Isra al-Najjar, and Head of the Coordination Department Abdullatif
Binnaji were also present during the occasion.
The
visiting members of the delegation were provided with a tour of the National
Council for Culture, Arts and Literature (NCCAL) facilities, where they
inspected the Council’s collection of antiquities and were provided with access
to a number of historical audio and visual recordings which have uniquely
preserved the State of Kuwait’s history.
