KOC’s recent efforts to expand its production operations while remaining committed to its environmental and social responsibilities were recognized recently by Global Business Outlook, as the Company took home two separate top prizes in the Best Oil & Gas Exploration & Production Company and Best Crisis Management Response (COVID-19 Response & Awareness Initiatives) categories for 2021.

Global Business Outlook has recognized KOC’s recent efforts to complete and initiate a number of major exploration and production projects. In terms of major projects, the most significant project by far is the Company’s Heavy Oil Project, which was successful in initiating the State of Kuwait’s first shipment of Heavy Oil.

Global Business Outlook has also recognized KOC’s leading role within the State of Kuwait as the primary industrial institution which was ready, willing, and able to lend its vast medical and logistical expertise toward the creation of medical infrastructure and social initiatives which aimed to combat the spread of COVID-19 since the onset of the pandemic.

These two new recognitions from Global Business Outlook highlight KOC’s determination to live up to its role as a socially responsible entity which also has the enormous responsibility of remaining a reliable supplier of energy to the world. Going forward, the Company will continue to commit its efforts toward safe and efficient production operations while upholding its standing as a pillar of Kuwait’s local community through a wide variety of social initiatives.
