Under the auspices and presence of KOC CEO Emad Mahmoud Sultan, the two-day KOC Cyber Security Summit, organized by the Information Security Team (Corporate Information Technology Group), was launched at the Company's tent in Ahmadi.
A number of DCEOs, Group Managers, Team Leaders, as well as guests from K-Companies, members of the Cyber Security Committee in the oil sector, representatives of some ministries and official authorities, guests from Gulf countries and a large number of interested people attended the opening ceremony.
In his statement at the commencement of the summit, the CEO welcomed the audience, stressing that the conference marks the beginning of a series of information security activities that the Company intends to organize.
Then, Mr. Robert Lee, CEO, DRAGOS Inc., delivered a presentation titled “The Industrial Cyber Threat Landscape”, and was followed by Mr. Chris Roberts’s (Attivo Networks) presentation “A Hacker’s Perspective: Where Do We Go from Here?”
The conference also includes the first phase of the global information security competition "Capture The Flag", the finals of which will be later held in Japan.
