Society
KOC stresses that it is not merely concerned with upstream operational issues; rather it considers itself as part and parcel of the broader society, hence it immensely contributes to various social activities.
National Days 
KOC actively takes part in various national occasions, notably the National and
Liberation Days. Ahmadi Township was the most decorated city during the celebrations of Kuwait’s 50th Anniversary of independence, the 20th Anniversary of the Liberation and the 5th Anniversary of His Highness the Amir’s reign.
Sponsorships and donations
The Company sponsors numerous events both inside and outside Kuwait. Over the past year, it sponsored, among others, the International Exhibition for Innovations in Middle East, the fourth Kuwait Transparency Forum, Kuwait Oil and Gas Exhibition, Kuwait Pipetech Conference and the SPE International Conference.
The Company is also engaged in donation campaigns for disaster stricken countries. The recent beneficiaries include Pakistan and Somalia and Japan.
Power Saving Campaign
In light of the excessive consumption of water and electricity in the State of Kuwait, KOC has decided to engage in an awareness campaign, in conjunction with the Ministry of Electricity and Water, with the aim of rationalizing power consumption in Ahmadi and across the country, particularly during the summer.
The Spring Camp
The Spring Camp has been created as a comprehensive entertainment resort for KOC staff and families.
Ahmadi Sports Day
Ahmadi Sports Day, which was first held in March 1974, is one of the sports festivities that the Kuwaiti community awaits every year in March.
Support for People with Special Needs
KOC has donated for an additional ward in Kuwait Autism Center meant for autistic children.
Gardens Competition
The competition is an annual tradition launched in 1962 by the late Amir Sheikh Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah when he was governor of Ahmadi. The contest continues till present where winners are recognized by the Company.
Photography competition
Launched in 1996, the competition seeks to highlight the artistic potentials in photography.
Quran competition
The Company organizes an annual Quran Competition during the holy month of Ramadan among young people.
Honoring Academic Toppers
KOC annually organizes an event to recognize academic toppers in the presence of the Chairman and Managing Director, alongside senior company officials in order to encourage young people to excel at their studies, being the future leaders
Concession of residential land
KOC gives up patches of land to allow property development, in contribution to state efforts toward providing decent housing for citizens.
