The Public
Authority for Applied Education and Training (PAAET) recently announced that it
began the process of receiving applications from high school graduates, both
male and female, to register for a one-year training course that ends with
appointments to contract positions within the K-Companies. PAAET also announced
that female graduates of the program will be given special consideration for
positions which relate to KOC’s efforts related to information technology and
computer systems
The course
was announced at the PAAET’s Ibn Al-Haytham Training Center, where KOC Team
Leader CMK Sourcing & Recruiting Jamal Al-Hashash was in attendance. Acting
Deputy Director General for Training Affairs and Director of the Higher
Institute of Energy, Faisal Dahi, represented PAAET.
Al-Hashash
said the announcement will provide more than 300 job opportunities at KOC,
KNPC, and KIPIC under four new programs that were developed in cooperation with
KPC and PAAET. These include maintenance of oil and gas equipment, oil and gas
electrical networks, oil and gas control systems, operation of computer
programs in oil facilities, and other fields covered in previous programs.
