KOC Holds Meeting with National Guard

In order to complete the process of their joint cooperation, KOC and the National Guard recently held the first meeting of the Joint Committee for the Protocol of Cooperation. During the meeting, both sides discussed the procedures which are aimed at implementing and activating the terms of the agreement to qualify National Guard members for their roles in securing and protecting oil installations, as well as developing joint contingency response and crisis management plans.

The discussions were held during the National Guard delegation’s visit to the KOC Main Office in Ahmadi, where they were received by DCEO Commercial & Corporate Services Abdul Wahab Al-Mithin, Manager Security Group Adel Al-Azmi, Manager Health, Safety and Environment Group Dr. Musleh Al-Otaibi, and a number of Team Leaders.

The visiting delegation included members of the Supervision & Follow-up Committee for Implementation of the National Guard and External Bodies Protocols, headed by the Assistant Administrative Support Brigadier General Essam Nayef Essam.

During the meeting, TL Organization Resilience Nasser Al-Buhairi delivered a visual presentation to introduce the Protocol of Cooperation, while the two sides agreed to appoint a Liaison Officer and set a timetable for joint trainings and exercises.
