The reception is part of an effort by both companies to bring employees together on national and religious occasions in order to promote comradery and unity across the workforce. The reception also played a large role in strengthening the ties among K-Companies, which was displayed in the joint reception between KOC and KGOC. The occasion marks the third time that the two companies organized a joint reception together after similar receptions were held for Eid Al-Adha in 2017 and 2019.
