KPC CEO Mr. Hashem Sayed Hashem received His Excellency the Ambassador of Austria to Kuwait Mr. Sigurd Pacher who visited him to hand over the "Energy Globe" award, which KOC has won recently.

Representatives of the Austrian Embassy to Kuwait had previously received the “Energy Globe” award on behalf of KOC at the 20th Edition of the awards ceremony, which was held in Espo, Finland. KOCd Hashem received His has earned this prestigious
international award in recognition of its contribution to the Kuwait
Environmental Remediation Program. Energy Globe Award is organized and
presented annually and aims to raise awareness on issues related to energy,
sustainable development and environmental protection.
Energy Globe is one of the world's most prestigious environmental
awards. It was founded in 1999 by Austrian energy pioneer Wolfgang Neumann. The
award is presented annually at a televised ceremony.
The annual awards ceremonies take place in several countries, and
the awards were presented by prominent figures including like Kofi Annan,
Mikhail Gorbachev, president of the European Commission, president of the
European Parliament, and actor Martin Sheen.
