Under the patronage of DCEO – Planning & Finance Mr.Bader Al-Attar, a 2-day session on Financial training for Fast Track and Talent Management Program candidates from KOC and K-Companies, coordinated by the Financial Systems & Control Group, was held at the Ahmad Al-Jaber Oil & Gas Exhibition with the main theme being “Financial Training and K-Companies Collaborative Forum with emphasis of Think Commercially”.
Several speakers from National Bank of Kuwait, McKinsey & Co., KPC International Marketing, KPC Treasury, KOC Planning and Finance presented on various topics. The purpose of the sessions was to encourage staff to “Think Commercially” by imparting knowledge on how the Oil & Gas Value chain is measured, how everyone can contribute to the success of KOC strategy and to give insights into various aspects of Kuwait and Global economy and various aspects of financial terms, definitions and concepts.
About 120 participants attended the event from KOC and all K-Companies.
