NK Directorate Receives 3 International Safety Awards

North Kuwait Directorate has been awarded with the 2015 Gold Awards for Occupational Health and Safety and for Managing Occupational Road Risk (MORR) by the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA) sponsored by NEBOSH, and the 2015 International Safety Award by the British Safety Council as well.
The RoSPA ceremony took place in London, recognizing and rewarding the organizations that showed a true commitment to improving health and safety. North Kuwait Directorate has received the prestigious Occupational Health and Safety Award for the last four years. This is a distinctive achievement for KOC, KPC and the State of Kuwait.
This achievement recognizes North Kuwait Directorates commitment to the prevention of accidents and ill health at work. The scheme used by RoSPA judges overarching occupational health and safety management systems, including practices such as leadership and workforce involvement.
This award will not only recognize commitment to incidents and occupational illness prevention by North Kuwait Directorate, in particular by KOC, but also for Road Safety as well.
RoSPA is a British charity, which aims to save lives and prevent life-changing injuries occurring as a result of accidents, while the British Safety Council is a Registered Charity and one of the world’s leading Health and Safety organizations. The London based charity provides training in over 50 countries.
